This one-semester,
multimedia curriculum revolves around 5 essential economics activities:
producing, exchanging, consuming, saving, and investing. Students evaluate
information from a variety of sources, including the business world.
A complete set of
5 modules - with 27 interactive lessons composed of print materials, video,
videodisc, and software applications - contains all media and:
- Teacher's Guides, with video program summaries, teaching plans,
discussion questions and activities, tests, and stu-dent activity forms
- Computer Software and Classroom Utilization - Support Kit, with
training video and software applications (Windows ® or Macintosh ® ),
providing additional educational activities within 7 occupational clusters
- Student Guides, with worksheets that aid and assess learning,
can be purchased separately.
The multimedia series
was developed by the Council for Economic Education and the Agency for Instructional Technology (AIT)
and a Consortium of Council for Economic Education State Councils.
